Hmmm - as soon as I think we've heard the last of Dick Cheney, his political chutpzah reaches an all time high.
Apparently, there is some dispute as to which branch of the government he actually belongs - the Executive branch (which I and many others figured he actually ran) or the Legislative branch, since he's bestowed the title of President of the Senate as part of his Vice Presidential job package.
Most people will probably say this means little -- or worse, nothing -- in the grand scheme of things. But that's just the point. It's not just more Washington nonsense. Everyone should be outraged over these "little" things - because his insistence that he does not have to live under the same guidelines as everyone else is indicitave of a much more serious problem. And one that I hope can be resolved with the 2008 elections.
